Christie Waldman is a mother and grandmother. She grew up in a small farming community in Illinois. Her poem, "Bard of the Yard," was published in Westward Quarterly: The Magazine of Family Living (Summer 2021). She is working on perfecting her children's fantasy novel, Meredith, which she first drafted thirty-eight years ago. Her nonfiction book, Francis Bacon's Hidden Hand in Shakespeare's 'The Merchant of Venice,' was published in 2018 (New York: Algora Press).
