The day Kate got her superpowers, it came as quite a shock.
She went to hop over a puddle but landed down the block!
She blinked and some red lasers shot out from both her eyes
And zapped the neighbor’s mailbox — imagine her surprise!
Kate grabbed her phone to call for help, but when she tapped the scree
Her super strength showed up and smashed the phone to smithereens.
“Help!” Kate shouted to a boy coming ’round the corner.
But then she turned invisible which made him scream in horror.
When he ran, Kate tried to follow but quickly passed him by.
Super speed took hold of her — and that’s when she started to fly.
Kate zoomed and soared for a minute, then crashed into a tree.
Having superpowers wasn’t all it’s cracked up to be!
Tangled up in branches after all of that destruction
Kate wished her superpowers had come with some instructions.
