Simon Middlemas

Simon is a writer from the UK. In his grown-up day job, he is a sport psychology consultant and academic. He loves to write stories and poems. One of his better pieces (Mi Mujer Maravilla) won Headland Journal’s 2017 prize, for story of the year by a previously unpublished author.  When not writing, Simon loves surfing, music, books, and lives in Cornwall with his wife, daughter, and fur babies. He is currently writing a novel about one man’s journey through New Zealand in the final days of his mother’s life.
